Gamestaq actually gives power to the players

More and more companies are starting to cut out the middle man. With their slogan being “We believe that the power should actually be given to the players,” Gamestaq is after some big fishes. As you may know, Gamestop is one of the biggest eater of the 2 billion used games market. They pay you unfair prices for brand new titles. As soon as you turn around and head home, they put the game up for sale with an incredible markup price. While gamers like us are not stupid and completely realize it, we all just got used to the process. Apart from Gamestop lets not forget Craigslist, we all know the risks there.

Gamestop stops buying Gameboy Advance games and handhelds

Thanks to technological advancements like the Nintendo 3DS. Gamestop will soon stop buying Game Boy Advance games and systems. According to Joystiq’s tipsters, this plan will go in action as soon as April 2. With this news intact, it make us feel old(at least thats how I feel). From a business stand point this makes perfect sense for gamestop there is barely any money in that particular market. Although this is sad and all, we have our fingers crossed for a huge fire sale on the games and devices!

Bottom Line: Gamestop will stop buying GBA systems and games in as soon as April 2nd.
