Angry Birds Rio will be an Amazon Appstore exclusive for Android

Well this one’s a shocker! Apparently Amazon will carry the new Angry birds movie based game in their new AppStore. Amazon’s has recently announced that they will be launching their very own AppStore. Hoping to establish marketshare, Amazon did a great job of snatching up the launch exclusivity for the new hit tittle Angry Birds Rio. The game is said to be available for Android, but will soon be headed to the Apple App Store as well. We wrote awhile back about the upcoming Angry Bird’s movie and game. SOCOM 4: Special Forces Release Date Announced

The upcoming PS3 exclusive SOCOM 4: Special Forces has been given it’s official release date, 22nd April in the UK & Ireland, by Sony. It hits mainland Europe on 20th April and Australia and New Zealand on 21st April. Mainland Europe will receive the Move-supporting shooter on 20th April and Australia and New Zealand on 21st April. According to a tweet by PlayStation EU Blog, a beta is also on the way.

Bottom Line: SOCOM is probably one of the most respected game franchise in the history of Playstation, and personally I think that statement can be echoed and agreed throughout most of the community. The original SOCOM games for the PS2 were fantastic, and it’s that quality most of us are looking for in the FPS industry. A healthy history with a good backbone. Lets just hope Zipper can deliver.

Battlefield 3 Gameplay Footage Arrives

The Game Developer Conference is bringing us tons of goodies this year! Today Swedish developer Dice released the first ever look at  Battlefield 3 gameplay footage. As you will see below, the video shows incredible graphics, lighting, mechanic, and other features. The Frostbite engine 2.0 is in full use, and you can really tell the difference from the last one. As much hype this game is receiving, this video does not dissapoint at all. More so it leaves us drooling all over the keyboard. Bottom Line: Battlefield 3 looks beautiful both visual and audio wise!
